This property really opens the doors to yesterdays world, I love the way you can sit in the royal rooms and experience the castle as if you were a resident there, it’s truly a unique experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for romantic weekend away.

Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í Virginíu, í 16 km fjarlægð frá Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor Centre. This stay is a gem! The facility is beautiful, the breakfast is wonderful, the staff is very friendly. Beds are very comfortable and the room is very spacious and well appointed. I just picked this place randomly for one night on my way back to the Belfast airport. What a wonderful surprise it was! Highly recommend this property to everyone staying in the area

The Bailie er staðsett í Cavan, í innan við 17 km fjarlægð frá Maudabawn-menningarmiðstöðinni og 25 km frá Kells-klaustrinu. On first impression you would think a 2 star would be sub standard parts of it is just the decor & well worn setting in the front bar however the rooms are of a 4 star quality ( brand new refurbished) there is alot to aesthetically but the welcome we recieved was second to none nothing was a problem . The beds are super comfortable along with an excellent shower & complimentary toiletries/ tea coffee . The food was great value for money and the burgers delicious, staff although all young had excellent customer service skills . We had to leave early and the chef came in 1hr earlier to ensure we had a breakfast, and gave us fresh fruit salad and homemade scones to go . Thanks to Pat for opening up the dining room earlier . We will definitely return .

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. It was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly!

Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, to be appreciated in rainy days especially. Food in the pub was good, breakfast offered a buffet along wth a menu to choose from, portions were quite satisfying.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. The spa with a large heated outdoor pool There are bathrobes in every room - no need to change in a busy changing room as you put on your swimming costume and bathrobe in your room and walk to the spa. In addition, the rooms had large very comfortable beds.

The Farnham Arms Hotel er staðsett við aðalgötuna í miðbæ Cavan og býður upp á bar og veitingastað. Location could not be better. It is on Main Street so bang in the centre of Cavan. All staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. My room and bathroom were spacious, with a kettle and tea and coffee, a hair dryer and a safe box - all in great working order. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet even though it was in the middle of town. There was also an ironing board and iron outside in the corridor for guests' use which was a great idea. Breakfast was very adequate with a good choice. I had meals in the Carvery and also the bar, both of which were very good value. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Breffni Arms Hotel er staðsett í Arvagh, 21 km frá Cavan Genealogy Centre og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlega setustofu og veitingastað. Wonderful hotel and amazing family running the establishment and they could not to do more for us. Amazing breakfast included and we ate dinner there both nights because the food and people were so wonderful!! So helpful for suggestions on local attractions and transportation. This is a must stay!
